#ThrowbackThursday “One Night in Bangkok” by Murray Head

“I get my kicks above the waistline, sunshine!” I’ve heard this song on the radio twice in the last few days so it must be a sign, coming to me all the way from 1984.

And, wow, longest intro to a music video ever. Second only to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

P.S. Do not Google image search “One Night in Bangkok” if you are at work. That’s some racy stuff. Hope my IT guy isn’t suspicious.

  1. I googled it! You were right, I should’ve listened

  2. There aren’t enough pop songs that combine chess and odd Thai sexual proclivities.
My girl and I heard this the other day and I was apalled that she remembered all the words.

  3. Love the 80’s music!!!!
