Lessons from Childhood: The Lion King and Poverty

Happy Friday, y’all! I am off to tell my students about my move to Taiwan, and I am excited for their reactions (is that weird for me to say?) I’m also excited to show them where Taiwan is on the map. I will post later about how it all went.

Until then, here is a #RAWResome post from one of my favorite blogs of all time, Girls in Capes. (Start following them now! No, NOW!)

Enjoy your Friday and see you tomorrow for #Caturday!

Lessons from Childhood: The Lion King and Poverty.

About julieschicklit

My book blog is dedicated to finding books, stories & ideas that redefine women's literature to be something smarter & funnier. More RAWResome lit for ladies. I am remaining some-what anonymous because I have a day job. My Man-Beast and I are soon going to live abroad in China, so that's why I'm a reblog-aholic.

  1. How exciting! Can’t wait to hear about their reactions!

  2. I think I may have missed something. Is this a permanent move to Taiwan? Will you be blogging from Taiwan?? Can I come too??

    • We are going for two years and, yes, I will definitely keep up the blog while we are there. There should be a count-down tracker on the right side of my blog. And if you look under the {30 to 30} tab, you’ll see the post “Move to a Different Country” which will, like my friend Clarissa, explain it all.
